A tree struggles for survival between rocks on a coast. It has seen many storms and is bent and windblown. A caring couple gently move the tree to a place where it has room to grow big and strong. The tree sometimes misses it’s old home on the rocks, but once it is grown, it can see past the woods to the coast where it used to live–and realizes it has been home all along.

A woman, a cat (Stripes) and a dog (Joy) all loved to be together at dinner time. Stripes loved to eat Joy’s food and Joy loved to eat the Stripes’ food. One day Stripes is not home at dinner time. The woman and Joy call for Stripes and all kinds of other animals arrive. Finally they are all invited in for dinner, only to find Stripes eating Joy’s dog food. This story has many sound effects as each animal arrives. It addresses the feelings of anxiety related to separation. (13 Pages)
