1: Integrating Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy and Story. Located in the remote and beautiful coastal town of Perry, Maine this workshop will introduce the Moving Stories Method which integrates story, sandtray and play therapy. Participants will experience the method in Dr. Duffy’s “Wonder Room”, a special kind of playroom that houses the three dimensional therapeutic library. CEU’s may be earned for most helping professionals and for those working towards registration as Play Therapists. Limited to 6 participants.

3: Sandtray Therapy Intensive. August 2-4th, 2012
Telling Therapeutic Stories in the Sand and Play Therapy: Level 1 will be offered through Chesapeake Beach Professional Seminars in Bristow, VA. This training is the same as Moving Stories Level 1 and provides skills in play therapy, sandtray therapy and bibliotherapy that are needed in the Moving Stories play therapy method.
The Roundtable
The Roundtable: The Roundtable provides mental health clinicians in with the opportunity to be participant-presenters–learning from each other, providing peer support and researching and presenting in areas of personal interest. The Maine Play Therapy Association is collaborating with By The Sea Seminars to expand the Roundtable. CEU’s may be earned for most helping professionals and for those working towards registration as Play Therapists if “Play Therapy” is in the title.
