For your convenience, you may also pay online, however, you will still need to send the registration form from the brochure.  You will receive confirmation by e-mail.

Purpose

The Roundtable provides mental health clinicians in the Downeast area with the opportunity to be participant-presenters–learning from each other, providing peer support and researching and presenting in areas of personal interest.  The Roundtable also hopes to support/develop play therapists.

How it Works

Each clinician presents on an area of interest once during the year.   Typically the presentations are 1 1/2 to 2 hours long.

Support

Meeting with the same small group of therapists during the year facilitates supportive relationships.  In addition, participants are invited to participate in online support and consultation with participants from The Roundtable as part of a group listserv.

Registration

Registration is open during the months of July and August each year.  If you would like to participate, contact By The Sea Seminars at any point during the year.  If there is an opening in the Roundtable, you will be invited to provide a brief biography along with your topic. In August  you will be sent a brochure with the schedule and location of the  presentations for the upcoming year.

CEU’s

By The Sea Seminars is an approved Continuing Education Provider for the Association of Play Therapy.  The APT provider number is 04-144.  Only presentations with “Play Therapy” in the title can be used towards registration as a play therapist. Application will be made to relevant licensing boards, such as Social Workers and Psychologists once the group members for the year are determined.  By The Sea Seminars is responsible for the workshop.
