Sarah lives in New Harbor, Maine with her husband, three children, and 2 dogs and cats. She has a private practice in Newcastle, Maine; Stepping Stones Mental Health and Counseling. After having earned her Bachelor’s in Behavioral Science from the University of Maine Machias in 1999, Sarah went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Social Work at the University of New England. Sarah has earned her RPT and RPT/S credentials. Currently, Sarah provides supervision, individual and family therapy, and mentors interns in their Masters programs. Sarah’s professional experiences are varied, but almost all have been working with families and children in school, group home, or home based settings until starting her practice in 2009. Sarah’s passion is play therapy using child centered, Alderian, and CBT modalities.
