Little Bear is very sad when grandmother bear dies.  All the bears gather in a circle to remember what they loved about grandmother bear.  She is lifted on eagle’s wings to the Other Side of the river and received by her ancestors.  When little bear sees the eagle, he remembers grandmother bear (12 pages).
