This is a good story for helping a group of children process the loss of a classmate after they have moved.  Maggie and Mucky Moose and their friends all go to school together and have many adventures.  One day Wolf moves to a new woods.  The friends go on an adventure to try to find Wolf but have no luck.  Children listening to the story are prompted to help Maggie and Mucky Moose and their friends find a way to keep in touch with wolf (12 pages).

A woman, a cat (Stripes) and a dog (Joy) all loved to be together at dinner time. Stripes loved to eat Joy’s food and Joy loved to eat the Stripes’ food. One day Stripes is not home at dinner time.  The woman and Joy call for Stripes and all kinds of other animals arrive. Finally they are all invited in for dinner, only to find Stripes eating Joy’s dog food. This story has many sound effects as each animal arrives.
