Touring

The Eastport area is full of wonderful tourist attractions. Remember to bring your passport so you can enjoy the nearby Canadian Islands. Here are just a few ideas to give you a flavor of some of the local touring possibilities:

Ferry to an Island (take your bike!)

Deer Island and Campobello Island are just across the water. You will have a chance to observe sea life like dolphins and whales as well as Old Sow, a whirlpool. Campobello Island is the home of Roosevelt’s summer home and it is open to the public. At the other end of Campobello Island you can watch for whales and at low tide, scramble over to a light house. There are also public beaches on the island.
