Description:

This workshop will explore the effectiveness of Play Therapy in the treatment of transgender children and children with sexualized behaviors.  Special attention will be paid to effective techniques for these populations.  An exploration of the inclusion of families in treatment of these cases will be included.

Objectives:

Participants will:

1. Understand the effectiveness of play therapy with each of these groups.

2. Become familiar with important aspects of treatment in play therapy for of each of these groups.

3. Become aware of how to include families in these treatments.

4. Understand the pleasures and satisfactions gained in working with these groups.
